Woodhouse Eaves, Woodhouse and Swithland are arguably the most charming and attractive villages in Charnwood, many of the properties here are built in stunning local materials including Swithland Slate Roofs and local Granite stone. Perfectly nestled in the heart of the scenic Charnwood Forest. Woodhouse Eaves boasts a friendly community with excellent local amenities, including The Curzon and The Old Bulls Head pubs, The Peartree Restaurant and the village hall, along with a lovely range of independent shops along the Main Street. The village also features well-regarded schools and hosts numerous community events throughout the year. Woodhouse is a small hamlet situated between Woodhouse Eaves and Quorn, with a small number of homes that boast a truly stunning range of architecture. Footpaths weave across fields towards neighbouring villages, ideal for a dog walk and pint at the local pub!

For those looking for houses for sale in Swithland, it’s a pretty village with an OFSTED outstanding rated school which was built in 1843. The village pub, the Griffin Inn was built c.1700 and has been put to several uses in its history, including a brewery, bakery, and village mortuary. Today it is undergoing a huge revival under the expert eye of ex-Cricketer dream team Stuart Broad and Harry Gurney. The national brand Swithland Water originates from the village too!
